Heavy-Duty Split Type Cantilever Single Twisting Machine (External Capstan and Torque Take-Up)

The stranding cantilever is seperated from the external capstan of the Heavy-Duty Split Type Cantilever Single Twisting Machine (External Capstan and Torque Take-Up). The two are mechanically pivoted and rotate synchronously. The take-up reel is equipped with a torque motor, and it rotates concentrically with the stranding cantilever. The stranding cantilever motor drives the stranding cantilever and the external capstan rotating part to rotate synchronously at a constant speed; the take-up motor drives the take-up reel to rotate and roll up the  wire at a variable speed. The external capstan is composed of a capstan wheel and multiple multi-groove tension pulleys. The motor drives the capstan wheel to rotate, driving the wires to advance and twist at a constant linear speed. A speed difference is formed because of  the constant speed of the cantilever and the variable speed of the take-up spindle. The rotational speed difference ratio depends on the stranding pitch setting. The twisted wires are wound onto the spool by the power of take-up motor due to speed difference. As the wires accumulate on the reel from empty to full, the diameter gradually increases. The control system automatically adjusts the variable speed of the take-up motor, and the differential automatically transverse to the third variable rotational speed to the take-up spindle. This is how the production of twisted wires is maintained at a constant line speed. This machine can be equipped with different types of auxiliary equipment such as pay-off racks, center rotating wrapping machines, and longitudinal wrapping machines to realize the twisting of various wires with an outer diameter within 10-30mm. It has high production efficiency, low faults, and the finished wire products have excellent performance indicators. This type is suitable for stranding wires that require higher performance qualifications.

Overall machine structure Take the center line of single twist main model as an axis, the production line from pay-off to take-up is linearly distributed in split type structure.

Capstan type The external capstan is double-wheel rotating capstan system with driven wheel, taking up the wire through the cumulative diameter of the dynamic winding of the take-up reel. And the encoder detects the line speed of the entire machine, providing PID speed feedback to the take-up motor.
Capstan type The rotating capstan is placed in front of the main twister, separated from the main unit. The rotating body is driven by an independent motor. It has a multi-groove double-wheel capstan system, with the capstan wheel as the fixed wheel. The external motor drives the capstan wheel to rotate through a mechanical structure. The driven wheel is the free wheel that can have linear reciprocating displacement. The external servo motor transmits constant tension to the driven wheel through mechanical transmission. When the driven wheel is pulled by the wire, it outputs a voltage signal, providing PID torque feedback control to the take-up motor.

PRODUCT FEATURES

● Efficient Speed: The single twisting cantilever is subjected to static and dynamic balance testing and calibration, resulting in less vibration and low noise. The main spindle operates at high speed continuously without generating heat, guaranteeing efficient speed.

● Accurate Pitch: The external rotating capstan drives multiple strands of wire movement, creating an accurate and stable pitch before the main twisting machine.

Due to the constant bottom diameter of the capstan wheel and the absence of other interfering factors, the pitch remains precise and stable.

● Efficient wire arrangement: The wire arrangement process adopts a box-shaped structure, where the wire reel moves back and forth in a straight line along with the wire take-up box, ensuring a neatly organized wire arrangement.

● Less Bending: The design of the capstan roller and the wire guide wheels adopt a large diameter, reducing the bending of the wire and avoiding damage to the pitch.

● Easier Operation: The machine base is barrier-free, without any crawling ramps. The wire spools can be directly pushed into the machine for loading and unloading, making the operation effortless.

● Intelligent: Recipe management, allowing for one-click retrieval of SOP recipes, one-click preparation for start-up, and one-click activation;Dynamic feedback on twist pitch and torque return is provided, fault detection, cable breakage detection, metre-to-shutdown, intelligent control.

● Easy maintenance: Customers outside of China can customize the use of the Profinet bus control, which ensures fast and low-interference signal transmission. As long as there is a communication network in any country or region, remote fault detection, troubleshooting, and maintenance services can be quickly implemented.
